RENTAL SYSTEM


How VIDEOHUB.SG works?

VIDEOHUB.SG uses credit-based system renting videos online. Videos will be posted to the letter-box through SingPost by normal non-standard mail. Stamp-prepaid return-envelope will be provided for returning the movie.


What is 'Holding Limit (Holding Power)'?

'Holding Power' limits the maximum number of discs to be received from VIDEOHUB.SG at a time. Number of discs rented will be determined by the renting-points a movie requires and the available 'Holding Power' a subscription plan provides.


What is 'Renting-Point' for?

Videos available for rental at VIDEOHUB.SG are priced by 'Renting-Point'. Rental credit points will be added to your account depending on the subscription plan paid, it is used for renting VCD, DVD and/or BLU-RAY from VIDEOHUB.SG online.

MEMBERSHIP


How to join as a Member?

Membership is open for 16 years old and above residence in Singapore. Simply click [Join Me In] and proceed with necessary steps on screen.


Do I have to pay a deposit?

A refundable deposit of additional one-month subscription fee is required; except for subscription that is processed through Paypal.


When can I get back my deposit?

You will get back your deposit after the cancellation of subscription; without interest.


What types of plans can I subscribe?



How to pay for my renewals and other charges?

Full subscription payment for renewal to be paid on or before payment date; includes other charges, if any.


How do I know my payment date (or billing date)?

Please log-on to your account for more information of your payment date.

PAYMENT METHOD


Can I pay by credit card (process by Paypal)?

Subscription paid by credit cards - VISA, MASTER and AMERICAN EXPRESS will be processed through Paypal. In light to safeguard your private information, we integrate with Paypal - a secure payment gateway to process your payment. The followings highlight brief procedures:


  • Click [Pay by Credit Card]
  • Follow instructions to complete your transaction.
  • Your subscription will be activated immediately upon successful payment. You will be notified by email.
  • Your renewals will be processed by recurring payment system through by Paypal on monthly or quarterly basis based on your initial subscription method; until cancellation.

Can I pay by other methods?

Pay by Cheque:

  • Click [Pay by Cheque or Cashier's Order].
  • Issue exact amount and made cheque or cashier's order payable to "VIDEOHUB MULTIMEDIA" and post to VIDEOHUB.SG, Ang Mo Kio Central Post Office, PO Box No.595, Singapore 915604. Kindly write your Customer's ID overleaf the cheque for easy identification.
  • Subscription will be activated upon clearing of cheque.
  • For smooth renewals, we hope to receive payments at least three (3) business days before expiration of current subscription.

Pay by ATM/Bank Transfer:

  • Click [Pay by Bank Transfer].
  • Proceed to the nearest ATM machine (or by ibanking), transfer exact amount to UOB Current Account Number: 349-328-0668.
  • Scan/print-screen the receipt and email to us ([email protected]). Please include your Customer's ID for easy identification.
  • Subscription will be activated on the same day should payment is processed before 2pm from Mondays to Fridays, except for public holidays. You will be notified by email.
  • For smooth renewals, we hope to receive payments at least three (3) business days before expiration of current subscription.

Pay by Paynow:

  • Click [Pay by Paynow].
  • Input following information:
    • Select Detail Type: Unique Entity Number (UEN)
    • Unique Entity Number (UEN): 53135507A
    • Entity Name: VIDEOHUB MULTIMEDIA (this will be updated automatically if above input is correct)
  • Kindly print-screen the receipt and email to us ([email protected]). Please include your Customer's ID for easy identification.
  • Subscription will be activated on the same day should payment is processed before 2pm from Mondays to Fridays, except for public holidays. You will be notified by email.
  • For smooth renewals, we hope to receive payments at least three (3) business days before expiration of current subscription.

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT


How to upgrade my plan?

Here's how in brief:

  • Click [Upgrade My Account] under Account Maintenance;
  • Select a new plan;
  • We will notify you shortly by email indicating the procedures of the change of subscription plan.

How to downgrade my plan?

Here's how in brief:

  • Click [Downgrade My Account] under Account Maintenance;
  • Select a new plan;
  • We will notify you shortly by email indicating the procedures of the change of subscription plan.

Can I put my shipping on hold?

Yes. For some reasons, you may wish to put your shipping on hold (7 days and above). Here's how:

  • Click [Hold My Account] under Account Maintenance;
  • Input both starting and ending dates (Shipping will put-on-hold during these period);
  • Return all discs currently with you;
  • Rebate will be processed after 'on-hold' period on pro rata basis. Please note that rebate is only applicable for shipping put-on-hold not less than 7 days. You will be notified in due course.

How to suspend/discontinue my subscription?

To suspend or discontinue your subscription, simply proceed as follows:

  • Click [Suspend Me] under Account Maintenance;
  • Empty your 'Rental Queue' to avoid further shipping;
  • Return all discs currently with you.
  • You may re-subscribe again anytime you'd like.

Refund will be processed on pro rata basis, if any. Please note that refund is only applicable for period left unused not less than 7 days. You will be notified in due course.


How to terminate my membership?

To terminate your membership with VIDEOHUB.SG permanently, simply proceed as follows:

  • Click [Cancel Me];
  • Empty your 'Rental Queue' to avoid further shipping;
  • Return all discs currently with you.
  • Your membership will be removed from VIDEOHUB.SG.

Refund will be processed on pro rata basis, if any. Please note that refund is only applicable for period left unused not less than 7 days. You will be notified in due course.


What will happen if the video discs remain unreturned after expiration?

All video discs remained the property of VIDEOHUB.SG. Your account is deemed to be active should any discs remain unreturned. Hence, payment for your subscription to be continued and chargeable.

SHIPPING


What is 'Rental Queue' for?

'Rental Queue' allows you to shortlist movies you would like to rent. Movies placed on top usually ship first. However, as movies might have been shipped out as and when on request coincidentally, we cannot guarantee that you will receive the movies as per your viewing order.


How many movies can I keep in my Rental Queue?

'Rental Queue' allows you to keep up to 50 movies. This is to ensure that there are always discs on your way.


How to rearrange my viewing order?

Simply use the drag-and-drop feature to rearrange your viewing order.


How long can I keep the movies?

So long that your subscription remains up-to-date, you may keep the movie as long as you wish. However, we suggest that you return it after watching it, so you can enjoy more movies out of your subscription.


How do you send me movies?

We send movies every working day from Mondays to Fridays by non-standard mail to letterbox through SingPost. You will be notified when shipping is processed.


How soon can I receive my movies?

In normal circumstances, kindly allow 2 working days for SingPost to deliver after posting. Please inform us ([email protected]) immediately if shipping remains undelivered 4 working days after posting.


Can I choose to receive movies on my preferred date or by way of other modes of delivery?

No. This service is currently unavailable.


How do I return movies?

A self-addressed stamp-prepaid envelope is enclosed with every batch of shipping. Please use it to return movie after watching. Simply place discs in the envelope, seal it and drop it to the nearest mailbox provided by SingPost. All discs received will be processed on the same day. Acknowledgement will be made. Your account (rental history) will be updated simultaneously too. You are advised to check your account and email regularly to keep yourself updated. Please inform us ([email protected]) immediately if you do not hear from us four (4) business days after posting.


Loss of enclosed envelope

If you have lost the enclosed envelope, you may use the appropriate substitute to return movies. Simply ensure that the returning discs to be well-cushioned in an envelope that is fit for mailing, and post to "VIDEOHUB.SG, Ang Mo Kio Central Post Office, PO Box No.595, Singapore 915604". Please remember to affix appropriate stamps before posting. Alternatively, you may request a new one from us.


Damaged or lost disc

If the disc is found damaged or lost, please notify us ([email protected]) immediately. Reshipping will be processed. However, if you are liable for such damaged or lost, invoice will be billed as follows:
